Abstract

Esta publicación recoge experiencias de mejoramiento de barrios (asentamientos marginales) en América Latina, en el marco del “Proyecto de Investigación, difusión y ejecución de procesos de desarrollo de Asentamientos Informales” con el objetivo de contribuir a la generación y sistematización del conocimiento relacionado con la habilitación de asentamientos informales, generalmente ubicados en zonas urbanas que concentran una copiosa población con limitados recursos económicos y escasas oportunidades de mejorar su calidad de vida. En particular, rescata conocimiento generado en el Proyecto de Desarrollo Sostenible y Replicable que se realizó en la comunidad La Morán, ubicada en Caracas, Venezuela entre el año 2010 y 2011.
