Abstract

Os objetivos estratégicos estabelecidos neste documento estão inter-relacionados e orientam o crescente apoio da CAF em infraestrutura de água resiliente, com um compromisso inabalável para os países da região de melhorar sua institucionalidade e capacidade de planejar, executar e gerenciar serviços de água, saneamento e irrigação, ao mesmo tempo em que está melhor preparado para enfrentar e reduzir os riscos crescentes de secas e inundações, no âmbito da gestão integrada dos recursos hídricos. A Estratégia da Água 2019-2022 da CAF não é estática. Pelo contrário, deve ser entendida como uma proposta dinâmica que será alimentada pelo diálogo com os diferentes atores regionais, bem como pelas reflexões resultantes do debate setorial internacional, área em que a CAF está cada vez mais presente.
