Música para crecer, una iniciativa de CAF. Juntos transformamos vidas

Abstract

La promoción de la cultura como expresión creadora e integradora de los pueblos es parte de la misión de CAF. Fomentar iniciativas como el Programa Música para Crecer, que reconoce el rostro humano del desarrollo, constituye un aspecto fundamental en el apoyo al fortalecimiento de valores y cultura ciudadana en la región. De esta forma se reafirma la importancia que CAF asigna al valor de la expresión artística, como mecanismo de transformación social e integración latinoamericana. Desde sus inicios, el programa se concibió como una herramienta de inclusión social, con la certeza de que las metodologías del Sistema de Orquestas Juveniles e Infantiles y la Fundación Schola Cantorum de Venezuela rendirían en otros países de América Latina el éxito que ya el mundo ha reconocido, reflejado en las mejores orquestas y coros musicales internacionales, así como entre los directores de renombre admirado por el público a escala mundial. Esta publicación, que presenta la historia y recoge los testimonios de los actores que hicieron posible tener Música para Crecer, es una fiel muestra del compromiso de CAF con la construcción de un mejor futuro para todos los latinoamericanos.
