Erfolgsfaktoren der Technologiegewinnung. Eine Untersuchung von Pharma- und Halbleiterunternehmen in Deutschland und Japan

Abstract

Die effiziente und effektive Gewinnung von technologischem Wissen ist für Unternehmen in vielen Branchen zu einem entscheidenden Erfolgsfaktor geworden. In dem Buch wird zunächst ausführlich und in übersichtlicher Form der aktuelle betriebswirtschaftliche Erkenntnisstand zu diesem Gebiet aufgearbeitet. Anschließend wird anhand einer umfassenden und systematischen Untersuchung von führenden Pharma- und Halbleiterunternehmen in Deutschland und Japan aufgezeigt, welche Einflussfaktoren für den Erfolg der Technologiegewinnung von besonderer Bedeutung und welche weniger relevant sind. In der Analyse wird zwischen den beiden Ländern und Branchen, aber auch zwischen der Forschung und marktnahen Entwicklungstätigkeiten differenziert. Darüber hinaus wird eingehend untersucht, welche Auswirkungen die Internationalisierung der Technologiegewinnung sowie der Rückgriff auf externe Technologiequellen für den Erfolg der Unternehmen haben. Aus den Ergebnissen werden Schlussfolgerungen für das Management, die Technologiepolitik sowie die weitere betriebswirtschaftliche Forschung abgeleitet.
