Abstract

This book applies complex systems theory and is grounded in the qualitative and quantitative integrated methodology. It takes the sustainable development complex system as the main thread, builds upon the theories and methods of systems science and management science, and is set against the background of the scientific data information sharing project, to conduct research on China's sustainable development management issues. Taking the objectives of China's Tenth Five‑Year Plan as targets, it carries out planning studies on the sustainable development status during that period. Finally, based on the evaluation and planning results, it puts forward policy recommendations for the implementation of China's future sustainable development strategy from the perspective of an optimal sustainable development model. This book serves as a reference for government planning departments and sustainable development researchers, and can also be used as a graduate textbook for relevant disciplines in higher education institutions.
