Abstract

Based on a comprehensive review of domestic and international research achievements in mineral resource exploitation decision-making, this book addresses prominent challenges and emerging trends of mineral resource development decision-making in China. It adopts modern theories and technologies including systems engineering, knowledge engineering, software engineering, computer science, information engineering, artificial intelligence and management science to conduct research on the theoretical framework and practical application of intelligent integrated decision-making methods for mineral resource exploitation grounded in economic evaluation.As a monograph illustrating the application of systems engineering approaches, artificial intelligence theories and meta-synthesis methodologies to mineral resource development practices, the book bears practical value for corporate managers and decision-makers in relevant government authorities. It also serves as a useful reference for researchers specializing in resource and environmental management, industrial engineering and related disciplines.
