5 Boletín de movilidad social en el mercado de trabajo

Abstract

El quinto número del Boletín de movilidad social en el mercado de trabajo del CEEY explora el grupo de personas que están fuera del mercado de trabajo, que tuvieron que renunciar o que fueron despedidas por factores fuera de su control. Se analiza el primer trimestre de 2021, tras un año de actividad económica en el contexto de la pandemia. Entre los resultados se muestra que alrededor de 600 mil personas se agregaron a la población excluida desde el primer trimestre de 2020. Así, esta alcanzó a 7.7 millones en el primer trimestre de 2021. En el primer trimestre de 2021, en comparación con el mismo periodo de 2020, se reporta una mayor exclusión laboral asociada con la formación y con vivir en una zona de alta marginalidad. La edad, entre los hombres, y la formación y las responsabilidades en el hogar, entre las mujeres, adquirieron mayor peso como factores de despido injustificado.
