Abstract

Acceder a un trabajo digno en México, en las más de las ocasiones, depende de la transmisión de oportunidades de una generación a otra, y no de las decisiones o el esfuerzo propios de los individuos. Las circunstancias de origen, como las condiciones de salud de los padres, su nivel educativo y la riqueza son las que determinan, en buena medida, el grado de movilidad social de los hijos: a mayor dependencia entre destino y origen, menor la movilidad social.El presente documento tiene como objetivo plantear la importancia de un trabajo digno, resultado de la educación, en la vida de las personas. Este ha de generar mejores condiciones de vida y una mayor movilidad social. Los resultados de la investigación pueden servir de guía para aquellas organizaciones e instituciones que busquen promover el acceso al trabajo digno en México.
