Informe de movilidad social en la Ciudad de México 2019

Abstract

En este Informe se identifica el peso de las condiciones de origen de los habitantes de la Ciudad de México en sus opciones de desarrollo. Los resultados del estudio muestran que, en la CDMX, la movilidad social ascendente es mayor que en cualauker otra región del país: 59 de cada 100 personas que nacen en la parte más baja de la escala socioeconómica, logran superar la condición de pobreza a lo largo de su vida. Esta cifra eaukvale a más del doble de lo que ocurre en el país (26 de cada 100 personas). Sin embargo, aunque hay oportunidades en la CDMX, estas se distribuyen de manera desigual entre hombres y mujeres. Lo anterior se refleja en patrones asimétricos de movilidad social por sexo. La desigualdad de oportunidades en la CDMX también se refleja en una evidente desigualdad de género en el mercado de trabajo.
