Konjunkturelle Abhängigkeit von Arbeitsmarktübergängen

Abstract

Übergänge zwischen Arbeitslosigkeit, Beschäftigung und ökonomischer Inaktivität unterliegen deutlich konjunkturellen Schwankungen. Ist das Wirtschaftswachstum hoch, gehen nur wenige Individuen von Beschäftigung in Arbeitslosigkeit über, aber viele Individuen aus der Arbeitslosigkeit in Beschäftigung übergehen. Die Wahrscheinlichkeit, beim gleichen Arbeitgeber beschäftigt zu bleiben, steigt in Phasen des Aufschwungs, aber auch die Wahrscheinlichkeit, den Arbeitsplatz zu wechseln, steigt an. Arbeitsplatzwechsler, die durch den Wechsel einen höheren Lohn erzielen können, verzeichnen in konjunkturellen Aufschwüngen höhere Lohnzuwächse als in Abschwüngen.
