Ergebnisse der Unternehmensstrukturstatistik zur Produktivität von Unternehmen

Abstract

Der Beitrag untersucht anhand der Unternehmensstrukturstatistik die Unterschiede der Arbeitsproduktivität zwischen und innerhalb von Wirtschaftsbereichen. Dazu werden zunächst verschiedene Messkonzepte auf Output- und Inputseite diskutiert. Weiteres Thema sind die Auswirkungen der statistischen Darstellungseinheit - Unternehmen nach EU-Definition verglichen mit Rechtlichen Einheiten - auf die Messung von Unternehmenskennzahlen wie Wertschöpfung, Arbeitsproduktivität oder Vorleistungsquoten. Außerdem wird analysiert, welche Unterschiede innerhalb von Wirtschaftszweigen bestehen - zwischen Unternehmensgrößenklassen (Großunternehmen verglichen mit kleinen und mittleren Unternehmen) sowie zwischen hochproduktiven und weniger produktiven Unternehmen.
