Die Umbasierung der Tarifindizes mit geänderter Datenbasis

Abstract

Die 2022 erfolgten Änderungen in der Verdienststatistik wirken sich auch auf die Tarifstatistik und insbesondere die Tarifindizes aus. Änderungen in der zugrunde liegenden Erhebung führen dazu, dass die bisherige fünfjährliche Umbasierung nicht wie gewohnt erfolgen kann. In der zuvor verwendeten Verdienststrukturerhebung standen zwei zentrale Bestandteile zur Verfügung, die in der nun genutzten Verdiensterhebung beziehungsweise der daran angeschlossenen Erhebung der Tarifinformationen nicht mehr oder in anderer Form enthalten sind: die Leistungsgruppen sowie die Messung der Arbeitszeit. Der vorliegende Artikel zeigt Lösungen für diese beiden Herausforderungen, damit die Tarifindizes auch künftig in gewohnter Form mit den bekannten Leistungsgruppen veröffentlicht werden können.
