Fortschreibung und Rückrechnung der Bevölkerungszahlen nach dem Zensus 2022

Abstract

Die Bevölkerungsfortschreibung liefert Grunddaten zur demografischen Entwicklung wie die Zahl der Einwohnerinnen und Einwohner in Deutschland. Viele nationale und internationale Nutzende aus Staat, Wirtschaft und Gesellschaft benötigen die Ergebnisse der Bevölkerungsfortschreibung, deren Grundlage die jeweils letzten Zensusergebnisse sind. Nach einem Zensus findet demnach eine Justierung der Bevölkerungszahlen statt. Der Artikel beschreibt die Umstellung der Bevölkerungsfortschreibung auf den Zensus 2022 und deren Auswirkungen auf die abgebildeten demografischen Strukturen. Mit der Umstellung entsteht ein Zeitreihenbruch. Um den Nutzendenbedarf an bruchfreien statistischen Zeitreihen zu erfüllen, erfolgte zudem eine Rückrechnung der Bevölkerungszahlen für den Zeitraum 2011 bis 2021 für statistische Zwecke.
