Analysen zur Einkommensverteilung des Mikrozensus und EU-SILC

Abstract

Im Mikrozensus wird das Einkommen auf zwei verschiedene Arten erhoben: in der gesamten 1-%-Stichprobe mittels einer groben Selbsteinschätzung nach vorgegebenen Einkommensklassen und in der Substichprobe für die europäische Erhebung über Einkommen und Lebensbedingungen als differenzierte Abfrage der verschiedenen Einkommensarten. Der Artikel untersucht, wie sich die Einkommensverteilungen dieser beiden Ansätze unterscheiden. Die Unterschiede haben insbesondere Auswirkungen auf die amtliche Sozialberichterstattung, für die basierend auf beiden Datenquellen und Erhebungskonzepten Indikatoren ermittelt werden.
