Verwaltungsgerichtliche Streitfälle in Deutschland: Umfang und Struktur verwaltungsgerichtlicher Verfahren

Abstract

Verwaltungsgerichte prüfen die Rechtmäßigkeit von Verwaltungshandeln. Daher können verwaltungsgerichtliche Verfahren die unterschiedlichsten Streitfragen zum Gegenstand haben, beispielsweise das Bau, Schul, Hochschul und Wissenschaftsrecht oder auch das Asylrecht. In der öffentlichen Diskussion interessiert häufig die Art, wie Verfahren beendet werden. Anhand der Statistik über die Verwaltungsgerichtsbarkeit stellt der vorliegende Beitrag Ergebnisse für das aktuelle Berichtsjahr 2024 sowie die zeitliche Entwicklung dar und quantifiziert dabei auch das Verhältnis von Verfahren in Asylkammern zu Verfahren in allgemeinen Kammern.
