Wie vielfältig sind Deutschlands Ämter? Beschäftigung von Eingewanderten und ihren Nachkommen im öffentlichen Dienst

Abstract

Die Repräsentation im öffentlichen Dienst ist wichtig für die Identifikation und Zugehörigkeit von Menschen mit Einwanderungsgeschichte in Deutschland und zugleich ein wichtiger Teilhabe- und Integrationsindikator. Der Beitrag stellt anhand von Ergebnissen des Mikrozensus dar, wie sich der Anteil von Menschen mit Einwanderungsgeschichte im öffentlichen Dienst in den vergangenen 20 Jahren entwickelt hat, und diskutiert die folgenden Fragen: Wie stark sind unterschiedliche Gruppen von Menschen mit Einwanderungsgeschichte heute im öffentlichen Dienst (unter-)repräsentiert? Wie sind Menschen mit Einwanderungsgeschichte in den verschiedenen Bereichen des öffentlichen Dienstes vertreten?
