Mode-Analysen zur Zeitverwendungserhebung 2022

Abstract

Erstmals kam eine mobile App als ergänzender Erhebungsmode in der Zeitverwendungserhebung (ZVE) 2022 zum Einsatz. Ziel dieses Beitrags ist, potenzielle Unterschiede zwischen App- und Papiererhebung im Hinblick auf Teilnahmebereitschaft, Quotenerfüllung, Ausfallraten und Datenqualität zu analysieren. Ein Schwerpunkt liegt auf der Frage, inwiefern beobachtete Unterschiede auf Messeffekte oder auf Selbstselektionseffekte zurückzuführen sind. Hierzu wird ein Matching-Verfahren eingesetzt, um Vergleichsgruppen mit hoher statistischer Ähnlichkeit herzustellen. Die Ergebnisse liefern wichtige methodische Erkenntnisse sowie Ansatzpunkte für Verbesserungen der ZVE und betonen die zentrale Bedeutung eines Mixed-Mode-Ansatzes in der amtlichen Statistik.
