Zukunftspotenziale: Europäische Datenräume und die Rollen der amtlichen Statistik

Abstract

Die Europäische Datenstrategie sieht den Aufbau von Europäischen Datenräumen vor, die künftig den Austausch von Daten sowohl im öffentlichen als auch im privaten Sektor erleichtern sollen. Durch gemeinsame Leitlinien und Standards soll der Datenschutz gewahrt und das volle Potenzial der Daten in Europa ausgeschöpft werden. Auch im Europäischen Statistischen System wird derzeit intensiv über die Rollen der amtlichen Statistik in den Europäischen Datenräumen diskutiert. Denn durch eine Teilnahme an diesem europäischen Großprojekt könnten sich diverse Vorteile für die amtliche Statistik ergeben. Der Beitrag stellt die Chancen und Herausforderungen für die amtliche Statistik durch eine mögliche Nutzung von Datenräumen dar
