Tourismussatellitenkonto für Wirtschaft und Umwelt – Quantifizierung einer Querschnittsbranche

Abstract

Die Tourismuswirtschaft ist eine Querschnittsbranche, die in ihrer Gesamtheit in keiner amtlichen Wirtschaftsstatistik abgebildet wird. Das führt zu Fragen wie: Welchen Anteil hatte die Tourismuswirtschaft an der inländischen Bruttowertschöpfung oder an den deutschen Treibhausgasemissionen? Wofür geben Reisende in Deutschland ihr Geld aus? Der Artikel stellt das vom Statistischen Bundesamt erstellte Tourismussatellitenkonto für Wirtschaft und Umwelt (TSA-EE) vor. Das TSA-EE quantifiziert die wirtschaftliche, arbeitsmarktrelevante und umweltökonomische Bedeutung des Tourismus in Deutschland. Es ermöglicht zudem den Vergleich der Tourismuswirtschaft mit anderen Wirtschaftsbereichen sowie der gesamten Volkswirtschaft.
