Weiterentwicklung der Erfassung der Weiterbildung im Mikrozensus: Split-Ballot-Test und flächendeckende Implementierung

Abstract

Der Beitrag beschreibt, wie die Erfassung non-formaler Weiterbildung im Mikrozensus weiterentwickelt wurde und wie sich dies auf die gemessene Weiterbildungsbeteiligung auswirkte. Im Jahr 2023 wurde ein neues Frageformat mit angepasster Reihenfolge und überarbeitetem Fragetext anhand eines Split-Ballot-Tests im CAWI(Computer Assisted Web Interview)-Erhebungsmodus getestet. Die Ergebnisse zeigten einen deutlichen Anstieg der gemessenen Weiterbildungsbeteiligung. Auf dieser Grundlage wurde das neue Frageformat 2024 flächendeckend im Mikrozensus eingeführt.
