Die Online-First-Strategie und die Online-Fragebogen im Zensus 2022

Abstract

Im Zensus 2022 wurde erstmals auf eine Online-First-Strategie gesetzt, um die Erhebung für die insgesamt 34 Millionen Auskunftspflichtigen der verschiedenen Erhebungsteile effizienter und anwendungsfreundlicher zu gestalten. Unter anderem führten Erfahrungen aus dem Zensus 2011 dazu, die Online-Fragebogen zu verbessern, an die aktuellen Bedürfnisse der Befragten anzupassen und die unterschiedlichen Anforderungen der drei ergänzenden Befragungen des registergestützten Verfahrens zu berücksichtigen. Erkenntnisse aus den durchgeführten Pretests flossen ebenfalls in die Optimierungen ein. Verschiedene Maßnahmen erleichterten die Teilnahme für die Befragten, was zu sehr hohen Online-Quoten führte, dem Ziel der Online-First-Strategie.
