Abstract

Der aus digitalen Prozessdaten der Lkw-Mauterhebung berechnete Lkw-Maut-Fahrleistungsindex liefert frühzeitig Anhaltspunkte zur Entwicklung der Industrieproduktion in Deutschland. Während der Coronakrise wird der Index arbeitstäglich aktualisiert, um möglichst kurzfristige Informationen zu erhalten. Die Ergebnisse des täglichen LkwMaut-Fahrleistungsindex bilden die Fahrleistung des mautpflichtigen Schwerverkehrs auf den deutschen Fernstraßen mit fünf- bis neuntägigem Abstand sehr aktuell ab. Der Beitrag gibt einen Überblick über den monatlichen sowie den täglichen Lkw-MautFahrleistungsindex, dessen Saison- und Kalenderbereinigung, die Unterschiede zwischen den beiden Indizes und den Zusammenhang des täglichen Index mit anderen ausgewählten Konjunkturindikatoren.
