Abstract

Gefördert von einer sehr expansiven Wirtschaftspolitik befindet sich die Weltwirtschaft in einem zügigen Aufschwung. Insbesondere in den Wachstumszentren USA und Ostasien, vor allem in China, ist die Auslastung der Kapazitäten in vielen Bereichen hoch. Angesichts zunehmender inflationärer Risiken vollziehen die meisten Länder einen wirtschaftspolitischen Kurswechsel. Insbesondere von Seiten der Finanzpolitik sind kaum noch Anregungen zu erwarten. Zudem ist vielfach die Zinswende vollzogen. Wie rasch aber können die geldpolitischen Zügel angezogen werden, ohne den Aufschwung einerseits und die Preisstabilität andererseits zu gefährden?
