Zusammenlegung von Arbeitslosen- und Sozialhilfe: Zwei Gesetzentwürfe

Abstract

Die Bundesregierung hat Mitte August den lange angekündigten Hartz IV–Gesetzentwurf, der die Zusammenlegung von Arbeitslosen- und Sozialhilfe für Erwerbsfähige regelt, vorgelegt. Bereits Anfang Juli hatte die Hessische Landesregierung mit dem Existenzgrundlagengesetz (EGG) einen eigenen Gesetzentwurf zu diesem Teil der Arbeitsmarktreformen vorgestellt. Wie sind diese beiden Gesetzentwürfe im Hinblick auf die Zielsetzung einer erfolgreichen Reduzierung der Langzeitarbeitslosigkeit in Deutschland zu bewerten?
