Abstract

Im Mai dieses Jahres erreichte die Inflationsrate in Deutschland mit 3,5% einen Höhepunkt Besorgte Stimmen, die dauerhaft um die Preisstabilität in Deutschland und in der Währungsunion fürchteten, mehrten sich. Wie ist diese Verletzung des geldpolitischen Ziels der EZB einzuschätzen? Ist die Preisstabilität in Gefahr? Welche Konsequenzen ergeben sich für die Geldpolitik?
