Abstract

Die Ausweisung neuer Gewerbe- und Wohnbauflächen seitens der Kommunen erhöht permanent den Flächenverbrauch in Deutschland. Um diesen Verbrauch im Rahmen des Konzeptes einer nachhaltigen Entwicklung zu begrenzen, werden handelbare Flächenausweisungsrechte diskutiert. Welche gewerbepolitischen Strategien sind dabei denkbar? Welche Auswirkungen ergeben sich auf den Standortwettbewerb zwischen den Kommunen?
