Deutschland nach der Stagnation: Exportgetriebene Erholung erfasst die Gesamtwirtschaft nur langsam

Abstract

Die Zentren des Aufschwungs in der Weltwirtschaft liegen in den USA und in Ostasien. Im weiteren Verlauf von 2004 und im Jahr 2005 werden die Wachstumszentren etwas an wirtschaftlicher Dynamik einbüßen. In den USA wird die Wirtschaftspolitik einen weniger expansiven Kurs einschlagen; das Bruttoinlandsprodukt wird in 2004 mit 4,5% und in 2005 um 3,5% wachsen. In der Eurozone werden die Impulse vom Ausland zunehmend die Binnenwirtschaft erfassen. Allerdings bleibt das Tempo der wirtschaftlichen Erholung mit 1,5% in 2004 und 2% in 2005 deutlich hinter den Wachstumszentren zurück. Auch in Deutschland hängt die Wirtschaftsentwicklung stark vom Aufschwung im Ausland ab. Der Exportanstieg wird kräftig bleiben und im Gefolge des Exportsogs wird die Nachfrage nach Investitions- und Konsumgüter steigen. Erst in 2005 ist mit einer Stärkung des privaten Konsums zu rechnen. Nach der Stagnation in 2003 steigt das BIP in 2004 und in 2005 um 1,8%.
