Ostdeutsche Wirtschaft 2000 und 2001: Wachstum der gesamtwirtschaftlichen Produktion verstärkt sich trotz erneutem Absturz im Baubereich

Abstract

Die wirtschaftliche Entwicklung in Ostdeutschland wird erstmalig auf Basis des neuen Europäischen Systems Volkswirtschaftlicher Gesamtrechnungen ex-post bis 1999 dargestellt und ex-ante für die Jahre 2000 und 2001 prognostiziert. Dabei werden vor allem Einblicke in die gesamtwirtschaftliche Produktions- und Beschäftigungsentwicklung gegeben. In ausführlicher Form werden die Wachstumschancen und Probleme der großen Wirtschaftsbereiche “Verarbeitendes Gewerbe“, “Baugewerbe“ und “Dienstleistungen“ beleuchtet.
