Abstract

Wie kann es weitergehen mit der Wirtschaftsentwicklung in Ostdeutschland? Wird Ostdeutschland auf dem derzeitigen Entwicklungsniveau verharren? Die Entwicklungsperspektiven der Neuen Länder sind nicht losgelöst von der künftigen gesamtdeutschen Wachstumsdynamik. Nicht nur in Ostdeutschland, sondern in Deutschland insgesamt besteht die Herausforderung darin, die Produktivität zu steigern, und zwar stärker als bislang.
