Die Zukunft der Daseinsvorsorge im ländlichen Raum: Entwicklungsoptionen für Kinderbetreuung, Schule und Kultur

Abstract

Am 14. und 15. Februar 2013 veranstalteten das IWH, der Lehrstuhl für Öffentliches Recht und der Lehrstuhl für Ökonometrie der Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg (MLU) einen Workshop zum Thema „Die Zukunft der Daseinsvorsorge im ländlichen Raum: Entwicklungsoptionen für Kinderbetreuung, Schule und Kultur“. Der Workshop verdeutlichte den existierenden Effizienzdruck in den Infrastruktureinrichtungen infolge rückläufiger Einwohnerzahlen. Es wurde aber auch deutlich, dass zur Sicherung der Daseinsvorsorge in ländlichen Räumen ein breites Spektrum von Anpassungsmöglichkeiten existiert, das beispielsweise Veränderungen im Gebietszuschnitt, Kooperationslösungen, Flexibilisierung von Standards und Umnutzung brachgefallener Einrichtungen umfasst. Die von den Veranstaltern präsentierten Forschungsergebnisse sind im Rahmen der Expertenplattform „Demographischer Wandel in Sachsen-Anhalt“ entstanden und wurden durch das Ministerium für Wissenschaft und Wirtschaft des Landes Sachsen-Anhalt gefördert. Darüber hinaus hielten weitere Expertinnen und Experten aus Sachsen-Anhalt und anderen Bundesländern Vorträge.
