Viel Leistung für wenig Geld?! Tätigkeitsspektrum, Qualifikation und Betreuungsumfang polnischer 24-Stunden-Betreuungskräfte in Berlin

Abstract

Dieser Beitrag untersucht erstmals detailliert das Tätigkeitsspektrum, die pflegerische Qualifikation sowie den zeitlich geleisteten Betreuungsumfang von 24-Stunden-Betreuungskräften, sogenannten Live-ins. Dafür wurden 222 polnische, in Berlin tätige Live-ins mit Respondent-Driven Sampling standardisiert befragt. Dabei zeigt sich, dass sie vor allem Haushaltstätigkeiten ausführen, bei der Körperpflege unterstützen und viele Live-ins fast rund-um-die-Uhr in Bereitschaft sind. Zudem übernehmen viele Live-ins Behandlungspflege, obwohl sie meist keine ausgebildeten Pflegefachkräfte sind. Sie haben aber häufig einen vorbereitenden Kurs absolviert oder verfügen über langjährige Erfahrung.
