Edadisme generatiu: quan la IA generativa reforça els estereotips d’edat

Abstract

Les aplicacions d'intel·ligència artificial (IA) generativa van produir en un any 15 mil milions d'imatges, l'equivalent al nombre de fotografies realitzades en els 150 anys d'història d'aquesta professió. Aquí ens preguntem com la IA generativa representa, de manera hiperrealista, els humans a través de les imatges que genera. I per a això ens hem fixat en aspectes com el gènere, l'ètnia i, en particular, l'edat de les imatges generades (un assumpte poc explorat fins ara), amb la finalitat d'observar si aquestes representacions són mirall o no de la diversitat del nostre món.
