The Quality, Capacity And Usefulness Of Financial Information In The Conceptual Assumptions Of The International Accounting Standards

Abstract

Decyzje gospodarcze, podejmowane przez uczestników obrotu gospodarczego, posiadająnajczęściej wymiar finansowy. Za uniwersalną podstawę dokonywania wyboru racjonalnych działań przyjmuje się sprawozdania finansowe, stanowiące informację o sytuacji finansowej i dokonaniach jednostek gospodarujących. W związku z postępującą globalizacją, w tym rów-nież w zakresie rynków finansowych, w skali międzynarodowej podejmowane są działania zmierzające do doskonalenia procesu tworzenia i prezentacji informacji oraz rewizji finanso-wej. Całokształt uregulowań w tej dziedzinie powinien służyć zabezpieczeniu interesów zróż-nicowanej grupy użytkowników informacji finansowej oraz bezpieczeństwu obrotu gospo-darczego. Celem artykułu jest wskazanie na cechy jakościowe, jakim powinny odpowiadaćraporty finansowe, będące głównym źródłem informacji o dokonaniach i sytuacji finansowej jednostek gospodarczych. Ich przestrzeganie powinno w efekcie sprawić, iż dostarczane użyt-kownikom informacje finansowe będą w pełni zaspokajały ich oczekiwania.
