Abstract

The inverse values of MCD signal intensity onPrFe4P12andCePd3are plotted against temperatures, to be compared with the bulk susceptibility data. It was found that the MCD data are very different from the bulk susceptibility data. The "local" Kondo temperature observed through the present results is much lower than the "coherent" Kondo temperature.
