Abstract

This work uses the idea of a fuzzy partitioned automaton to examine a fuzzy partitioned discrete-event system and associated decentralized supervisory control theory. We will specifically look at the notion of a fuzzy partitioned automaton and how it may be used to simulate the aforementioned system. In addition, we investigate the decentralized fuzzy supervisory control theory for a fuzzy partitioned discrete-event system and look at the conditions for its existence.
