Abstract

We present a biorthogonal process for two subspaces of ℂn. Applying this process, we derive a matrix inequality, which generalizes the Bauer‐Hausdorff inequality for vectors and includes the Wang‐IP inequality for matrices. Meanwhile, we obtain its equivalent matrix inequality.
