Abstract

Celem artykułu jest podkreślenie współzależności pomiędzy rozwojem nowoczesnychmetod analizy przestrzennej a podażą odpowiednich danych generowanych w ramachstatystyki publicznej. Przedmiotem rozważań jest sposób w jaki rosnąca dostępnośćdanych na poziomie jednostek terytorialnych (gmin), może zwiększyć efektywnośćprocesów decyzyjnych zachodzących na szczeblu lokalnym i regionalnym, zeszczególnym uwzględnieniem decyzji dotyczących alokacji publicznych środków rozwoju(lokalnego) poprzez tzw. geograficzne adresowanie interwencji publicznych.
