Abstract

Artykuł przedstawia nowe spojrzenie na rolę indywidualnych wynalazcóww procesie tworzenia innowacji. Wynalazcy indywidualni stanowią element centralnyprocesu twórczego. Innowacja nie jest produktem firm i organizacji, wymagaindywidualnej kreatywności (Rothaermel i Hess 2007). Badanie koncentruje się naanalizie płodnych wynalazców. Wynalazcy tej kategorii mają najwyższy udziałw generowaniu ogółu wynalazków (Le Bas et al. 2010) o wysokiej wartościekonkomicznej (Gambardella et al. 2005). Poprzednie badania kluczowych wynalazcówskupiały się analizie firm, w których pracują lub w branżach, w których te firmydziałają.
