Abstract

In the present work -in the light of theory -there is studied the development of themacroeconomic environment and trade in Bulgaria in the years of transition to marketeconomy after 1989 -the macroenvironment, the development of resources and of the main indicators, there are also revealed its state and its main issues and challenges. Thereis examined the development of GDP-related issues, the investments, the incomes and the consumption of the population, as well as other factors.As regards trade there is studied the development of investments, TFA, the personsemployed, the retail outlets, the turnover, the revenues, expenses and efficiency.
