Abstract

Economics/Economics of Digitization/Digitization, as a subject, is now part of general economic theory – micro-, macro- and global economics. It is based on the emergence of the so-called digital economy, which by definition represents an economic activity whose functioning is based on the use of digital technologies and the corresponding business processes and models. Moreover, the main activity of business agents working in the digital sector is not only the development and sale of software products, but also of electronic goods and services, as well as a number of other manifestations of digitization. In this report, we will consider the economics of digitization as a scientific discipline and field of scientific activity using the methodological apparatus and tools of economic research and further developing macro- and microeconomic theory in the context of modern technological changes.
