Abstract

Until recently, the scientific literature considered the benefits information technology would contribute to the development of enterprises. Today, we are no longer talking about a probable positive effect, but about a real need for the application of modern technologies in the companies’ activities. The digitization of separate processes and their unification is a challenge companies face more and more often, and ERP systems provide the opportunity to achieve that. Commercial agents and their activity are part of the enterprise's activity, which must be digitized, optimized through the prism of information technology and become part of the ERP eco-system.
