Dynamic Pricing In E-Commerce

Abstract

In the digital age, e-commerce has established as a fast and convenient way to sell various products. The number of online stores and the competition between them is constantly growing. As a result, more and more e-retailers are implementing dynamic pricing in their operations to increase business efficiency. The purpose of this paper is to present the essence, algorithm and advantages of dynamic pricing, highlighting the main challenges for businesses from implementing this pricing strategy. Specific areas of application of dynamic pricing in e-commerce are also reviewed in the paper.
