Modern Tendencies In The Development Of Cruise Industry In The Black Sea Region

Abstract

The article discusses the dynamics of the development of the cruise business in the process of globalization and the integration of regional tourism markets, topical issues of modernization of the cruise infrastructure of coastal areas, the interaction of the ports of the Black Sea cruise region with international cruise operators. The main patterns and tendenciesof tourist demand, the main constraints on visiting the Black Sea ports by cruise shipsare analyzed, the problems of the influence of the cruiseindustry on the marine economy complex and international tourist flows are considered. Potential sources of income for coastal states have been identified due to the expansion of tourist services programs in seaports and the assistance of state bodies.Based on the study, recommendations are proposed to improve the development of the cruise industry in the Black Sea cruise region.
