Abstract

The present study aims to analyze the theoretical concepts and characteristics of recreational urban tourism experiences. Such research supports the development of newly created tourist areas in Bulgaria. They contribute to the improvement of the internal and external management of the destination, carried out by the Organizations for Management of Tourist Areas.
