Possibilities For Changes In The Types Of Social Services Regulated By The Bulgarian Legislation

Abstract

The introduction of the new Law on Social Services regulates the main guidelines for the provision of social services in the community. This report aims to identify, based on a survey of a sample of social workers with different qualifications, users of services covered by the provisions of the new legislation and family members of people at risk, the need to introduce a new type of social services and / or the need to expand the scope of those already defined in its provisions. It has been established that there is a need for changes in the types of social services in the legislation of the Republic of Bulgaria to widen their scope and increase the types of services.
