Abstract

In the conditions of a dynamically developing environment, intensive digitalization and growing interest on the part of buyers and sellers in the possibilities of carrying out transactions electronically, more and more attention is paid to the development of e-commerce and its sustainability, in the context of achieving of sustainable development and consumption, introduction and implementation of sustainable e-business models by e-retailers. The focus is on achieving balance and stability between the economic, social and environmental goals in the e-commerce area. The main goal of this paper is to highlight the main guidelines for achieving sustainable e-commerce, by presenting the theoretical summary of the nature and directions in which the sustainability of e-commerce is manifested and through a brief analysis of online commerce data.
