Modeling of the opportunities and effects of industry modernization based on nanotehnologies

Abstract

The questions related to the assessment of the capabilities of nanotechnology industry modernization are considered; restrictive barriers are marked; the author's typology of levels of interaction of nanotechnology development is represented. The article presents the authors' models which allow formalizing the diffusion of nanotechnologies — a model of technological dynamics and model of nanotech modernization. Much of the article is devoted to the methodological approaches for assessing synergistic effects of nanotechnology industries development, including technological road maps, analysis of external effects, option theory and dynamic analysis of market structure.
