Abstract

Key parameters characterizing a level of development of insurance business in a region are the following indicators: insurance density and insurance penetration. To analyze the level of the given indicators for the market of the Sverdlovsk region in 2010, methods of simulation modeling have been applied. Two assumptions concerning probabilistic distribution of initial parameters have been considered in the issue; the given parameters are: normal distribution and level distribution.
