Reforming of local self-management: the Russian experts in a context of world experience

Abstract

The analysis of on-going reforms of local self-governing bodies (municipalities) in the Republic of Tatarstan, the Republic of Mari El and Sverdlovskaya oblast is given in the article below. The analysis was carried out on the basis of accumulated foreign countries experience with regard to the types, structures and modules of local self-governing bodies.
