Réforme des retraites en France : quelles sont les autres options ?

Abstract

La réforme des retraites de 2023 en France repose sur deux principales mesures pour assurer l'équilibre financier du système de retraite : le recul de l'âge légal de départ à la retraite et l'allongement de la durée de cotisation. Cette réforme, mal comprise par la population, a été rejetée par de nombreux Français. La communication gouvernementale a manqué de transparence, faute d'une explication de l'ensemble des scénarios possibles. L'article analyse les déterminants de l'équilibre financier du système et explore un ensemble de mesures qui agissent essentiellement sur les recettes du système. Les propositions concernent l'emploi des jeunes et des séniors, la diversification de l'épargne, la lutte contre les discriminations liées à l'âge et au genre, et le développement de la littératie financière pour une meilleure compréhension de l'avenir du système de retraite.
